That was the first thing I'd ever felt. I mean actually felt. I didn't even know what it was. I just knew that it was the most uncomfortable thing I'd ever experienced before.
And what's worse, is that I didn't know how to describe it. I didn't know the term for what I was feeling was "uncomfortable", or what was making me feel that way was "cold". Kind of hard for someone who'd been a robot up until now to actually know those words. Machinery only has sensors for that kind of thing, but we don't actually feel it.
Opening my eyes was the second weirdest experience ever. Before I would just shut on and off at will, my image sensors picking up my surrounding environment by letting the scene slowly fade from black to color.
No, this was instant. My eyelids felt heavy as lead (a metaphor I've heard recently, actually, but apparently it's been around for a while), and as soon as I opened them I regretted it. The fucking prick actually beamed the lights right in my
System Shock TeaserLaying on what appeared to be an operating table, surrounded by various equipment, a blue hedgehog had slowly begun to stir. His still closed eyes twitched and his shoulders convulsed, lips slowly working as a low groan escaped his throat.System Shock Teaser by Jammerlee
What was this sensation he felt? It was utterly foreign to him. He tried to find a logical explanation, but couldn't. He tried to compare it to something familiar, but found himself unable. It was new. It bothered him. He felt uncomfortable and it began to frighten him.
In reality it was temperature of the room, the coldness of the table and his weight pressing against it - but he couldn't recognize that.
There was something else too. His sensors were completely gone, as well as the familiar faint hum of his processor that he usually found himself ignoring. He knew organic creatures lacked these things, but he never realized just how... crippled he would feel without them. He tried to call on his location and status, but the strands of code in his ow

"Now... there's no need to wish to die anymore, Metal Son-" The Dr. was saying to me but I cut him off right then and there.
"I'm not Metal Sonic anymore! Get that through your mind!" I snapped at him. He sighed and shook his head.
"I'm trying to say, that if you let me examine you more, the way your body works for a little while longer. I'll be able to fix you... Heal your scars, your wounds, you'll look like new if I can continue what I am doing now! What do you say?" Dr. Finitevus asked me as he brought his cloth wrapped hands out for me too shake.
I took it carefully and shook with him, he helped me up and patted my back, I lost balance... Finitevus shook his head and helped me too my paws
"We'll still need to teach you how too walk..." the Dr. Said, sadly? Maybe i'm starting to lose my hearing too... That wouldn't be good at all!
"Alright doctor. I'm thankful that you took me in. I'm sorry for my rudeness earlier" I said to him and bowed my head in shame
